Frequently Asked Questions - Family Portraits

FAQ about Family Portraits

How do you photograph family portraits?

I like to get to know your family during the shoot and play it by ear to get the best images. This makes for a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Yes I do travel if my schedule permits, but there will be extra charges for this.

When will we get our photos?

This can vary depending on my workload, but I like to get my photos edited and delivered as efficiently as possible. I try to have digital photos delivered in a few days. Prints and products will take longer and depend on my suppliers.

How many pictures will we receive?

Family portraits offer a variety of collections to choose from and vary from 60-100 edited images. A La Carte Family portaits may have a few more.

What do you mean by A La Carte Options?

A La Carte means that you can design your own collection. You pay separately for the session and then choose as many or as few products as you like. However, the Collections do offer the best value for money and you can also add products to this if you so wish.

Do you sell Gift Cards?

Yes! You can purchase Gift Cards for the whole or part of a Family Portrait Collection or for prints and products. It's a fun idea to team up with your friends to buy Gift Cards for a loved one that add up to something great. If you have a different idea for a Gift contact me and we can discuss making a custom Gift just for you. Contact me to purchase a Gift Card.

Can we have the Raw Photos?

No! That would be like a film photographer giving you their negatives. I edit the RAW images and give you the edited JPG images.

Do you photograph Newborns?

At this stage I do not offer Newborn Sessions as this is not my speciality.

Do you photograph Weddings?

I occassionally shoot weddings, but this is not my main focus as I shoot a lot of sport on weekends. If I were to shoot a wedding I prefer small weddings with less than 80 guests.
